I think that is the humanitarian parole......but there have been over aggressive officers at the POE who mix up the two......

Applied (E-filed) on 4/19/2010 LUD on 4/26/2010 received receipt notice in a week.So far no finger print notice . I did received finger print twice in the past when I applied for EAD even though they took finger prints for I-485.
I heard that finger prints obtained at port of entry will be good for other immigration related applications.

I have not done AC21 yet. My join date is September 2nd. I am kind of planning to not file AC21.
Is your current employer supportive with respect to revoking 140 ? It looks like, you are doing H1 not using EAD ?

MS+0 is totally fine as long as the requirement is masters. It has least complications. When ppl with no masters apply no probs. When ppl with masters and exp apply, I am sure they will ask for more wage than labour cert. On those grounds u can deny those resumes. Its not worth to change employer just for that reason. There are many other big things that ur employer should back u in. So stay with someone who will back u well with apper work and with whome u have a rappo or will have a rappo.

This is talking about I-140 and not I-485.....
My I-140 filed with TSC is still pending since August 2007. I hope I get a decision ( hopefully positive) by Sep 2009!
Could you elaborate why you say this is about I140? I couldn't derive that from the posting. Anyhow this whole this is utter nonsense from the immigration department. I don't think there will be any action, period.
The whole thing is written as if June 2007 happened by mistake, I don't buy that.

1. Today I read news wherein an organization of Indian Businessmen,Lawyers.Doctors are organizing fundraiser for Hilary Clinton. They are giving lot of money for her campaign. These people already have contacts with number of senators. They can help us in our cause at different level.
The Chairman of the organization in the news article Sant Singh Chatwal is a known hotilier in US.

Guys, If you have done it or any of your friends have done this please share your/their experience. I am not sure its possible to port I-140 PD when you change employers as it states clearly in the document. I-140 PD invalid if you misrepresent or fraud "This includes change of employer" .

Guys whoever planning to use EAD going forward get ready for $700- per head out of pocket every year. That is the cost of renewal for EAD & AP without attorney involvement. Add additional family members and you can understand why was July bulletin made current.

with the lack of regulation on AC 21 law, each attorney's take different position when it comes to handling AC 21 cases, in my case the primary reason driven to file AC 21 is the small window of period available in getting I 485 adjudicated when the PD is current, so I don't want to loose time when the PD is current and get an RFE from USCIS and running back and forth to get the RFE responded before loosing PD, more over I took the 20 minute counselling with Murthy law firm and they advised to notify USCIS about employer change.Later I was fortunate that USCIS did not issue RFE(may be it helped USCIS by notifying them in advance and clear their doubt) and approve my I 485 when PD was current.

For the record I do not have a problem. Employer is a very large company and I have worked in the same location for close to 10 years with a well maintained LCA history. So chill. My eyes are wide open in matters important to me.
The reason for being pissed is that these bull issues are manufactured for a commercial reason (by ) and with the express purpose to distract from the main and important goals for advocacy to solve this frustrating retrogession problem.

We have started to see this issue. The USCIS trying to deny I-485s due to LCA failures. The reason the LCAs aren't proper, usually, is that the employer relocated the person w/o doing a new LCA. I think if PD remains current and continues to be current after october, then the I-485s are processed and approved as per the receipt date(RD). So your RD matters if everything continues to be current. If they retrogress, then I-485s are still processed as per I-485 RD, regardless of PD, but if the that PD is not current, then it it will be "placed in suspense" until such PD will become current.
I'm assuming that will happen. PDs will be retrogressed back sometime in sep/oct. And they will process all the current flood of applications. Not sure when they will get to June and beyond RDs(as per processing times they r still processing late 2006 RDs now). And after few months(say 6 months) they will move forward the PDs few months at a time.
The above is just my theory. I could be totally off, so don't come to any conclusions.

As my employer wants it - only apply 90 days prior to H1 expiration.

How do you distinguish between junk and not junk? It is holiday season and some families and students travel to India during this time. Some might get time to browse the net and some might not. If someone visits this forum they will be well informed about travel conditions back home and this was my only intention but I think you have an agenda here. Just got back from UK on Friday after a month of family time, medicals and our embassy interview! Wanted to let you all know that we were approved and happily back in the US!!
Congrats on the latest admin wins and movements in campaigns/projects. I wanted to say a huge thank you but not farewell to the many kind folks who kept my spirits high in the short time I have been with IV:
